New Pastures: On a clean, firm seedbed, drill 25-30 lbs of seed per acre no deeper than 1/2 inch. You may also breadcast 30-40 lbs per are and harrow lightly to cover seed. Roll to ensure good seed/soil contact. Apply fertilizer and lime per recommendations from you extension service or your fertilizer dealer. Timing for establishment is fall for Southern pastures and early spring for Northern pastures.

Overseeding warm season pastures: Mow or graze pastures so there is less than two inch stubble. No-till drill 20-25 lbs seed per acre, or bradcast 25-30 lbs per acre. Apply lime and fertilizer per recommendations from your extension service or fertilizer dealer.

Overseeding Corn/Soybeans: No-till plant directly into the crop residue in mid-September to mid-October, depending on region. Plant 20-25 lbs per acre on 6-8 inch spacings, no deeper than 3/4 inch. With sufficient moisture, seedlings should emerge in 7-14 days.
